Welcome to John's Photographs of Colorado Vacation Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado - June xx, 2001 Day One Continued, Coming back from Emerald Lake, with some extra time I took a quick side hike to Lake Haiyaha (2.1 mi. / 3.4 km & 745' / 227 m) rated "moderate". Lake Haiyaha was another high alpine lake with picturesque views. Returning back to Bear Lake information display you can see where the trail went. The Bear Lake area has limited parking and the park service run shuttles up to Bear Lake and below is a picture of the shuttle bus. After the day's hikes my dad picked me up at the parking lot and we returned back to Estes Park for my niece's 5th birthday. Hope you enjoy viewing these pictures.
