Welcome to John's Photographs of 2001 Trip to Seattle Seattle, Washington - Weekend of August 2-4, 2001 Trip to See @ "L" (chamber's nomenclature) as part of my trip to the Norsk Folkedans Stemne. This being my first trip to the Pacific Northwest, I flew into Sea-Tac in the evening and was quite in awe of the peaks rising above the mountian range on the flight in. Thanks to Eric, the son of Ingrid, a friend who lives in Bremmerton, for picking me up at the airport and showing me around the town Thursday evening. Highlights of the quick evening tour which we were able do, was of course the number one attaction in Seattle, the 1962 Seattle Space Needle, the new Experience Music Project (EMP) museum, and in the morning the local AIA office in the heart of downtown, an architecture / design bookstore and Pike Place Market.
