Pictures of the Texas Tech vs. Stephen F. Austin University Football game in the "under construction" Jones/SBC Stadium.

Last year's Baylor game was the last time I saw and took pictures of the Jones/SBC Stadium. Here you'll see quite a bit has happened in just over a year's time. This being the Red Raider's season finale, Monday, after the game the existing press box was to be demolished making way for the new west side suites and press box. In the pictures you can see where they are waiting to join the new addition's structure with the old. The day was a perfect day for football, too bad more Red Raider fans didn't comeout to enjoy the day. There were far too many empty seats. Unfortunate legacy of the 2001 Aggie game is the display put on by the grounds crew in the goal post dismantle while the players and band are celebrating on the field.

The future looks very bright for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, both the team and the stadium are becoming top notch. Looking forward to the 2002 Season and the "nearly completed" Jones/SBC Stadium. For more information about Texas Tech.
