Welcome. I took the following pictures when I attended the 2002 Sons of Norway International Convention as an alternate from District 1. This was my second international convention. (I was fortunate to have been a delegate two years ago for the 2000 Stavanger Convention). These photographs are the visual documentary of my trip to Madison, and they will either bring fond memories if you were there; or if you weren't, I hope they will entice you to try and attend the next convention to be held in 2004 in Washington D.C. Finally, I hope you will enjoy viewing them and if you want go ahead and order a CD of the pictures. The journey began from DFW airport, riding on American Eagle's Regional Jet Service (my partner took the "overland route") and then arrived late evening into Dane County International Airport in Madison. After arriving I needed to get out and "relax" and streatch the legs. Well after roaming the streets and following the activity along State Street, I reached the Capitol grounds and got some great night-time pictures.
