Stepping back to the 1888's wild west, I attended the second
annual West Texas Windmill Days at Midland's Beal Park with my parents, Hazel and
my sister's family. The festivities included a fishing contest, stagecoach and horseback
rides, costume contest, historic vendors and artisans inculding photographer. The
day ended with an original play "Judge Roy Bean's Ruling" portraying the
"Law West of the Pecos". Thanks to event organizers "Texas Best"
Midland's own volunter organization designed for interactive fun. Historical information on Midland
