2004 Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State
Lubbock, Texas - January 10, 2004
Texas Tech University played a double header against Oklahoma State University's Cowboys. The Red Raiders, coached by Bobby Knight played first. Final score was Texas Tech 83 OSU 62 in front of 13,043 fans. The second game featured the Number 1 ranked (USA Today/Coache's Poll) Lady Raiders coached by Marsh Sharp. The Lady Raider's defeated OSU 106 to 43 - with 15, 050 tickets sold for the nightcap. For the women's game I was fortunate to set behind the Texas Tech Goin' Band from Raiderland's Court Jesters. Unfortunately, some of the movie clips are vertical and you have to watch sideways though. Texas Tech Lady Raiders set two 3-point records, 1 as a team with 14 of 18 attempts, and #23 Natalie Ritche hitting 8 of 10 from behind the arch. Following the games the Tech men's team became ranked at 22(AP) and the women at No. 1 (AP).
