WEDNESDAY: The day started with a fine breakfast in the Atlantic Hotel. The first cultural session for those that didn't do the oil tour of Norsk Statoil began with an overview Norwegian Artists especially those with connections to Stavanger. and Rogaland. Joan S. Rongen of the Stavanger Art Association was the presenter for this educational session. After a short coffee break the second session was on Norwegian emigration presented by Sissel Aastorp of Stavanger's Norwegian Emigration Center and Museum.
