Roger Field, District 1 Secretary, was with us to answer questions such as:

1. Why now, after NST has been sucessful?
Answer: SoN was not allowed to sell insurance by the state therfore according to SoN's bylaws they could not establish lodges. Since then they have become "licensed" and have been establishing lodges.

2. Do you have to be Norwegian?
Answer: No, You only have to be interested in Norwegian heritage.

Those in attendance decided on the name "Hvor Vestenbynner" (where the west begins). We also established our due structure. (local lodge dues to be added to the set District 1 and International dues are $4.50 per member or $2.50 for spouses.
